If your manager is unable to log in to Brilliant Assessments, review the following items in order.
- Verify the email address on the user record. In the left side menu, click Users, locate the manager in the list, and click Edit on that user. Confirm the Email Address field is correct. The email address is also the username used to log in.
- Check that the Is Suspended checkbox is not ticked. On the same user record, review the User Status and Invitation area. If Is Suspended is ticked, the account is disabled. Untick the box and click Save to restore access.
- Check that the Is Locked Out checkbox is not ticked. The system ticks this automatically if the user has attempted to log in with the wrong password too many times. This is a security feature to prevent password guessing. Untick the box and click Save to reset the lockout and allow the user to attempt login again.
- Confirm the password reset process is working. If the manager has forgotten their password, ask them to use the Forgot Password link on the login page.
