If a cohort is set up to generate iterations automatically (for example, reassessing respondents on a schedule), you can stop further iterations from being created while keeping every iteration that has already run.
- Open Cohorts and click View on the cohort you want to stop.
- Go to the Iterations tab.
- Find the Next Iteration Generation Date and remove (clear) the date.
This stops the system from automatically generating the next iteration for that cohort. The current iteration, and all previously completed iterations, remain in the system. No data is lost.
To resume automatic iterations later, set a new Next Iteration Generation Date on the same tab.
