This release includes several updates across email scheduling, AI, and user management. Here's a summary of what's new and where to learn more.
Scheduled Welcome Emails
You can now schedule when an assessment launches. Instead of welcome and invitation emails being sent immediately, you can set a future Launch Date and Time when you create a response or cohort - manually, via CSV upload, or via the API. The welcome emails are then held and only sent once that date and time is reached. This works for both individual responses and cohorts.
For where to set the launch date and how to confirm scheduled emails in the Email Queue, see Scheduled Welcome Emails.
AWS Bedrock and RAG with Document Upload
You can now switch your platform's AI interactions from Azure OpenAI to Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock. As part of this, you can upload reference documents that ground the platform's AI features and associate those documents with individual assessments, so AI output draws on your own source material.
Read more in Using AWS Bedrock and RAG with Document Upload.
Manager Permissions Update
There are now more options to customize manager access, giving you finer control over what each assessment manager can see and do.
For full detail, see Managing Users and Permissions.
Banner Email Notifications for Admins
A new Enable Banner Email Notifications (Admin only) setting lets admins receive an email whenever Brilliant Assessments posts a new platform banner notice. The email arrives with the subject "New Banner Notification from Brilliant Assessments". This is useful for admins who don't sign in daily but still want to stay informed about platform updates.
