We've refreshed the Assessment Manager to make terminology consistent across the platform, improve how you find and sort records, and introduce a few handy new buttons. Nothing about how the platform works has changed - this update is about making the interface clearer and easier to navigate.
This release note walks through what's new in the Assessment Manager and what to expect over the coming weeks as we bring the rest of our knowledge base in line with the updated wording.

1. Consistent terminology across the platform
We've reviewed labels, column headers, and button names across the Assessment Manager and updated them so the same concept is called the same thing everywhere. For example, the row-level Action menu is now View, and field names such as Report Identifier, Cohort Subject, and Hide Emails have been simplified to Role, Cohort Name, and Suppress Emails.
Heads up: the underlying functionality has not changed - only the wording. Over the next few weeks we'll be updating our knowledge base articles and screenshots to reflect the new terminology. If you notice a difference between an article and what you see in your site, the feature still works the same way; the article just hasn't caught up yet.
2. Advanced Search and sorting on the Response List
Previously, the Response List offered a single search bar at the top, which wasn't always enough when you needed to narrow things down.
You can now:
- Use the new Advanced Search panel to filter by fields such as date, assessment, status, business, completion date, cohort name, and organisation levels.
- Sort each column in the grid to quickly surface what you're looking for.
Together these make finding a specific response - or a group of responses - much faster than before.
3. New actions and Advanced Search on the Cohort List
The Cohort List has gained several improvements that bring it in line with the Response List:
- Send Reminders button - send manual reminders to cohorts directly from the Cohort List.
- Delete Cohorts button - remove unanswered cohorts in one step.
- Advanced Search and column sorting, the same way as on the Response List.
Note: the Cohort List is hidden by default. If you'd like it enabled, an Admin can turn it on under Site Settings > Features.
4. Results and Reports now split into sub-tabs
The Results and Reports areas have been reorganised so you can go straight to the type of output you're working with.
Results
The Results page now has three sub-tabs:
- Individual Results - dashboards built for a single respondent's results.
- Cohort Results - dashboards built around a cohort.
- Assessment and Summary Results - dashboards that roll up across an assessment or summarise across multiple assessments.
Reports
The Reports page now has four sub-tabs:
- Individual Reports - Word/PDF reports produced for an individual respondent.
- Cohort Reports - reports produced at the cohort level.
- Assessment Reports - system and custom reports that cover a whole assessment, with Standard Reports and Custom Reports sub-sections.
- Documents - supporting documents attached to an assessment.
5. Allotments
There are no functional changes to Allotments. You may notice some minor wording updates in line with the terminology refresh mentioned above, but everything works exactly as it did before.
Questions?
If anything looks different from what you expected, or an article doesn't match what you see in your site yet, please get in touch - the functionality is unchanged, and we're progressively updating articles and screenshots over the coming weeks.
