There are two ways to delete responses, depending on whether you want to remove one specific response or clear out unused responses in bulk.
Delete a single response
- Open the Responses screen for the assessment.
- Open the response you want to remove to view its Response Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings, to the Save / Delete / Reopen Response area.
- Click Delete.
The Delete button appears only once a response has been created and saved. Clicking it removes that single response immediately.
Delete many unused responses at once
- Open the Response List screen for the assessment.
- Click Delete Responses.
- Confirm or adjust the cutoff date in the dialog box. It defaults to two months ago.
This option deletes only responses that have no answers at all. Responses that contain any answers are not affected.
Important:
- Deletion cannot be undone. A deleted response cannot be recovered.
- If a Welcome email with a link to a response has already been sent, deleting that response will cause the email link to return an error. Use deletion with care when invitations are already in circulation.
