How do I link my external assessment URL to a specific organization?

If you use Organizations in Brilliant Assessments, you can append an Organization's unique encrypted key to your external assessment URL. Any response created through that URL will be automatically tagged with the Organization in its response record. This is useful when you want to share a dedicated link with a specific client, partner, or business unit and have all their responses grouped under their Organization.

To set this up:

1. Create your external assessment URL. Set up the External ID, enable Auto Create Response, and copy the URL. See How do I create a shareable external link for my assessment? for the full steps.
2. Create the Organization (if it does not already exist). Go to Organizations and add the Organization you want to tag responses with.
3. Copy the Organization's encrypted key. In Organizations > Edit, locate the encrypted key (also called the Unique ID) and copy it.
4. Paste the encrypted key onto the end of your external URL. The result will look like:
   https://yourtenant.brilliantassessments.com?external=leadership-360&org=0b8f9272-9887-4311-a9a7-ef6691179845
5. Share this combined URL with the people from that Organization.

Each new response created through this link will now be automatically linked to the Organization in its response record. If you have multiple Organizations, create a separate URL with each Organization's encrypted key.
