Where do I change the color of a rating band?

Rating band colors are not set in the merge string or in the report template. They come from the rating itself, so changing the color on the rating changes it everywhere that rating is used, including charts, rating bands, and conditional report content.

To change a rating band color:

1. Navigate to Assessment Settings > Ratings.
2. Open the rating scale that applies. This is either your base rating or, if the assessment uses advanced ratings, the relevant advanced rating.
3. Edit the rating band you want to change.
4. Set the Color for that band.
5. Click Save.

The new color applies to every report and chart that uses that rating. There is no merge string parameter to override a rating band color for a single chart.

If you need a different set of colors for one report element, set up an advanced rating type with its own colors and point the merge string at it with RatingType=n, where n is the Rating Type ID from the Advanced Ratings screen.
