How do I exclude N/A answers from scoring?

If your question includes a "Not Applicable" or N/A answer option, you can exclude it from the score calculation so it does not drag down the respondent's overall average.

1. In the Assessment Builder, open the question and click Options next to the Not Applicable answer.
2. Go to the Options tab in the answer dialog.
3. Tick the Suppress Scoring checkbox.
4. Save the answer.

When this is enabled, the selected N/A answer is ignored for scoring and reporting purposes. The score is calculated only from the answered, scorable questions.
