Welcome to the Momentum Starter Template

This guide provides tips and tricks for making the most of this template and some of Brilliant Assessments' features that will help you hit the ground running. This template comes in A4, US Letter, and Presentation Size formats. Here's a preview of what's included:

Document Styles

Default Font

The template uses the Roboto font, which is available on Google Fonts and embedded in the template. You can download the font for free by visiting the website here.

Color Palette

These are the colors used by the theme in the template. They can be easily edited to fit your brand. You may want to keep these HEX codes bookmarked so you can easily add them to charts and other elements as needed.

Rating Palette

The rating palette for this template is below. To apply these colors to your graphics, review the article on applying and changing rating colors and images.

Rating Images

Various rating images are available for this template to visually represent traffic light rating systems, checklists, urgency, and more. These are available in the downloads at the bottom of this article in two sizes (125px and 75px wide).

Stock Images

This template comes with a selection of stock images for the cover, back page, and the first report page. We recommend using our image selections as they are compressed images, but you can also add your own images by following the guide sizes below.

Cover & Back Page Image

To add your image, resize your desired image to 900px(w) x 750px(h), and add the image as a 'fill' in the shape.

Inside Page

To add your image, resize your desired image to 750px(w) x 315px(h), and add the image as a 'fill' in the shape.

Tables

Many of the components in this report are contained in tables. This helps with formatting the content and ensures the best results. 

Gauge/Donut Charts in tables automatically resize the table to fit the chart, so there's no need to adjust the table size to fit the content.

Bar Charts will align with where the merge string is placed. So, it's best to align text to the bottom of the cell and resize the area accordingly. This applies to all horizontal and vertical bar charts. The tables in the template have been created to fit the chart types. 

For the best results, turn the borders off when you are finished editing. Read more about styling your template here.

Template Assets

To get started with this template, download the assets, ensure that you have installed the Brilliant Assessments Merge Manager Add-In, and attach the report to one of your assessments to see it in action. Remember to always test your template before you send out your assessment.
