Testing PDF Reports Easily

Once you have completed your report, it's time to test it! To test your report, first, you need to upload it to your assessment. 

Uploading your report via the Merge Manager

If you used the merge manager, follow these instructions. To add your report to the assessment:

1. Click the Document tab in the Merge Manager
2. Select the Assessment Report (if it is not selected already)
3. Click Upload to Brilliant Assessments and wait for the upload to complete. 

Uploading your report via the Assessment Settings

These instructions are for you if you have created your report without using the Merge Manager.

To create/edit a report:

1. Open the Manage Assessments View by clicking on Assessments in the side panel
2. Open the Settings for the Assessment
3. Open the Feedback tab 
4. Click Add a Report for a new report or Edit to upload an existing report.
5. Replace the existing template with the one you want to test - or add your first report template.

Testing your PDF Report

In your Brilliant Assessments system:

1. Navigate to Responses or refresh the responses window.
2. Find a Response connected to the Assessment or the Test Response if no other responses are available.
3. Click the Actions dropdown
4. Download the relevant PDF Report

Your report should now download. Check the formatting and repeat these steps until your report is perfect.
