This release is focused on improving the user experience for respondents and Administration/Assessment Manager users.
Response Improvements
We have upgraded the user experience for responses. You can now:
- Place an image or set color for the background behind the body of the response. You can also define a content panel (and set its color and opacity). The content panel can be of normal width or you can have a narrow content panel. Images can be one you upload or you can select one from our gallery.
- Select a font, Color, and font size for Section names, Subsection Names (if shown), Questions, and Answers. The font can be from a list of standard fonts or any Google font.
- Bold, underline, or italicize any part of a question or answer.
System Administration Improvements
We have simplified the administration of the system.
- In the Assessments Settings, commonly used fields are on the first tab, and less used fields are on the Options tab, plus all the other "settings" have been added as tabs: Design tab, Reports (both Individual and Cohort reports); Cohort (including Cohort setup, Iterations, and Roles); Emails Templates; Ratings; Pricing (including Allotment Pricing); Site Text and Sections Lists.
- When adding a response, commonly used fields are on the first tab, and less used fields are on the Options tab.
- You can now set the response and cohort list views to show the fields you use and share that view with others (particularly Assessment Managers)
- Cohort Initiations are now called Cohorts. The Cohort Settings function, as well as breaking down the old settings into General, Iterations, and Options tabs, includes tabs for the Respondents, Emails, and URLs, plus you can now run Cohort Reports OnDemand from there. The Respondents list shows whether the related responses have been completed.
- Individual Feedback Reports have been added as a tab on the Reports menu, not as a replacement for the Assessment setting but as an alternative.
Other Improvements
- When using Spider charts, you can now set the Left and Right Margins. This addresses a problem where long words were truncated when they were on the margins; you can now set the margins to work with your chart. This change is also available for Polar charts.
- We have made some slight changes to Polar Charts to make it easier to build Circumplex charts.
- Emails with a type of "Welcome" now work for both individual responses and cohort invited responses. The old "Welcome Cohort Recipient" email type will still work, but is obsolete.
- Many other small fixes and changes, including making Iterations work more intuitively.
