New Report Templates

Brilliant Assessments has updated the Sample Report Templates available on the system. The Templates, together with detailed instructions on how to adapt them to your brand (changing the colors, images, and fonts) are here.  

Report Templates can now be previewed and uploaded directly into the system from the Individual feedback dialogue on the Assessment Settings Feeback tab.  All Templates are available as A4, US Letter, and Presentation (Landscape) formats.

Column Format Answers

You can now format answers to a question in multiple columns, with different answer types, and across multiple rows. 

For Example:

The available Answer Formats are:

• Text Field
• Number (number entry with decimals allowed)
• Integer (number entry with no decimal point allowed)
• Drop Down List (you can specify multiple list Items with the same heading which will be formatted as a single list)
• Multi Line Text (Shows with an Update button in the response, which expands to an HTML Text dialogue box)
• Date (with calendar control)

MS Office 365 Email Changes

On September 30, 2025, Microsoft will retire previous methods of connecting to send emails. The current best practice is to use the MS Graph API, which is available now.

This article covers setting up a new App Registration for use with Brilliant Assessments to send email from your nominated organization's account.

The old SMTP method is expected to work until September 30, 2025.
