The assessment builder is a WYSIWYG editor to build and maintain your assessment.
There are 4 Levels in every assessment:
- Sections. These equate to pages of the response. You must have at least one section.
- Subsections. These are groups of questions on the same subject. You must have at least one subsection per section.
- Questions. The question you are asking.
- Answers. Either a text box (or similar) or a list of available answers. Most assessments have mostly multi-choice style because they are easy to score, however, these may be presented in a variety of ways.

For multiple-choice questions and calculations, they can also be entered in the Report Text tab of Questions.
