Brilliant Assessments includes several AI features that help at different stages of building and delivering an assessment. They are separate tools that do different jobs, so it helps to know which one to reach for.
| Feature | What it does | When you use it | Where you set it up |
| AI Build (previously AI Suggest) | Generates assessment structure (sections, subsections, questions, answers) and the rating and report texts | While building the assessment | Assessment Builder |
| AI Interpretation | Generates written feedback, and optionally a score, from a respondent's results | When designing the feedback report or dashboard | Assessment Builder (AI Individual or AI Cohort sections) |
| AI Discuss | Adds an interactive chat where respondents ask questions about their own results | When designing a Results Dashboard | Assessment Builder, then a Results Dashboard tile |
AI Provider: By default, Brilliant Assessments uses Azure OpenAI for all AI features. You can switch to Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock and upload reference documents to ground the AI in your own material. See Using AWS Bedrock and RAG with Document Upload.
