If a benchmark is not appearing on your chart, work through these checks. For full setup, see Setting Up Benchmarks for Reporting.
- Benchmarking is not enabled. Confirm the Benchmarking checkbox is ticked on Assessment Settings > General. Without it, no benchmark data is calculated.
- The Base Benchmark Label is missing. Benchmarks will not display unless the "all data" label is set on Assessment Settings > General. This is the most common cause.
- There are not enough responses yet. A classifier benchmark is only generated once it has at least the Benchmark Minimum Values number of responses for that value. Below that threshold, nothing shows.
- The data has not refreshed. Benchmarks recalculate nightly, not instantly. A benchmark you set up today, or one that only just reached its minimum, may not appear until the next day.
- You are benchmarking at the question level. Benchmarks are available for response, section, subsection, and segmentation scores, but not for individual questions. To benchmark a single question, set up a segmentation for that question and report on the segmentation instead.
- The classifier number in the merge string is wrong. Check that
BM1=nuses the correct classifier number, or0for all responses.
