Cohort Reporting Changes
We have divided each Cohort report in the Manager into two parts - a settings screen and an On-Demand Run screen.
- The settings screen holds the template and the normal filters for the report.
- The On-Demand screen request a run of the report and provides the opportunity to override the filters for this report only.
Other changes:
- Reports will be delivered by email. This is to help facilitate a future plan to run cohort reports on a separate server. It also allows you to request several reports simultaneously. The parameters for each report are held for the OnDemand run.
- The Report Manager screen has also been changed to allow for a description of the report. On conversion, these will be set to the same as the name of the report - but it is an opportunity to document what the report is used for
- You can now set the file name of the report, including parameters (such as Subject and the date)
- A new Title field allows you to pass a title for the On Demand Run. The title is available using a new {Title} merge type.

Calculations and Validations Changes
Calculations and Validations have been changed to make them more secure. Rather than entering the formula 'freehand', all selections are made from menus. All existing calculations have been converted to the new format successfully. They run using the previously defined code, it is only when you modify them you will use the new format.
See Details on Calculations
Minimum and Maximum
New merge strings are available in cohort reporting to return the minimum or maximum score (as a Likert style number or a percentage) of all responses for the question, subsection, section, or assessment. For questions you can also return the minimum or maximum response score for all questions in a subsection, section, or assessment; i.e. the lowest or highest score given by anyone, anywhere in the assessment.
Minimum (shown as Lo) and Maximum (shown as Hi) alongside the average score and a bar chart:
Minimum and Maximum Scores are documented in the Scores article.
