Unanswered Questions
Unanswered questions provide the ability for a user to view a list of unanswered questions in their response, and click a link to go straight to each question.
There is now the ability to specify:
All Questions must Be Answered to Save a Section – Previously this checkbox was “All Questions must be Answered” but has been renamed to save ambiguity. If selected, respondents can “Save Progress”, but not move between sections or save the completed response to finish the assessment until all questions have been answered. If only some questions are compulsory, use the “Required’ checkbox on those questions instead.
All Questions Must Be Answered to Complete Response – If selected, all questions must be answered to be able to save the response as completed. Respondents can “Save Progress” and move between sections without answering all “Required” questions, however, they won’t be able to complete their response until all questions in the assessment are answered. If they click Finish with questions unanswered, they will be taken ro the Unanswered Questions List. If only some questions are compulsory, use the “Required’ checkbox on those questions instead.
Show Unanswered Questions Button – If selected, a button will display in the assessment that enables the respondent to easily view which unanswered questions they are required to answer before they can save their completed response. Clicking the 'Unanswered' button in the assessment will display a panel listing all unanswered questions in order of section/subsection/question number. The respondent will then be able to click on an unanswered question on the list to be taken directly to the question shown.
You can read more in Assessment Settings.
