Welcome to this guide on the Starter Templates in Brilliant Assessments.
Sometimes, it can be hard to get started with styling and building your PDF Feedback Report. The starter templates are designed to give you a starting point for building your own templates, using merge strings that should generate results for most new assessments.
Starter Templates are best for Assessments with the following criteria as a minimum:
- At least 5 Sections, including the Welcome section
- At least 3 Subsections (in Section 2 of your Assessment)
- A field mapped to the respondent's first, last, and business names.
If you are missing any of these things, don't worry. You can easily remove them from the report and add merge strings that match your reporting.
These reports are mainly for individual assessments but can also be used for cohorts/group assessments.
Getting Started with the Templates
The best way to get started is to choose a template that suits the look and feel of your brand or assessment. These templates are set up so you can easily add your own fonts, colors, and images.
Template Libraries
In each template library, you will find the following:
- Each template in A4, US Letter and Landscape Format
- A set of rating images in the recommended rating colors for your template
- Where applicable, a pre-sized stock image library
Coming Soon
- A version of templates with no background applied
- A version of templates with pre-built iteration merge strings
