This video is a tutorial on setting up questions, sections, and subsections in Brilliant Assessments, explaining how to structure an assessment using a hierarchical format of sections, subsections, questions, and answers. We cover adding questions, selecting answer formats, customizing settings such as required status and visibility, linking to segmentations, and defining report names. We also demonstrate how to add text, image, or video instructions, set conditions for displaying questions based on previous responses, and generate answer-based report text.
Bonus Pro Tips
- When you add a question as required, you can add your own error message (if a respondent misses the field). This overrides the default message.
- If you want to add graphics to your instructions, these will only appear if you set the graphic type as ‘Assessment Body’
- The question report name field is displayed on the bar graphs, so it can be set to be different from the question text the respondent sees.
