Scores
Scores can be shown in the report at any level.
How to Show | Using the Merge Manager, select the Merge Type | Merge String |
Percentage Score calculated by dividing the total score of the answers selected divided by the total potential score of the questions answered. | Percentage Score | {RatingScore.Score} |
The average score of the answers selected. (as required for Likert-type reporting) | Average Points Score (Likert) | {RatingScore.ActualPoints} |
The merge strings have these parameters available:

Total Result for this Assessment. | From "Show" choose Assessment | Survey | If the Section is also specified this parameter is ignored. |
Results for all sections. | From "Show" choose Sections From "Section" choose All Sections |
SectionNo=ALL | If the Subsections parameter is not used, there will be a result for each section. Logically this would only be used in conjunction with the top or bottom filter |
Result for one section. | From "Show" choose Sections From "Section" choose Section to be displayed |
SectionNo=n | If the Subsections parameter is not used, there will be one result. n=the section number |
Results for all subsections within the specified sections | From "Show" choose Subsections From "Section" choose All Sections or Section name From "Subsection" choose All Sub Sections |
SubSectionNo=ALL | The Section parameter must also be used. If the Questions parameter is not used, there will be a result for each subsection. Logically this would only be used in conjunction with the top or bottom filter |
Result for one subsection. | From "Show" choose Subsections From "Section" choose Section name From "Subsection" choose Subsection to be displayed |

Select the nth Top scoring item in the specified element range | From "Advanced" choose Select Top. In "Top" enter a number - 1 for the top, 2 for the second top etc. Hit enter |
Top=n | When using the Top function, the elements to display become the range for the Top to be selected from. For example, SectionNo=All Top=1 will show the top-scoring section. n=1 for the top-scoring item, n=2 for the 2nd top scoring item, etc. |
Select the nth Bottom scoring item in the specified element range | From "Advanced" choose Select Bottom. In "Bottom" enter a number - 1 for the bottom, 2 for the second bottom etc. Hit enter |
Bottom=n | When using the Bottom function, the elements to display become the range for the lowest scoring to be selected from. For example, SectionNo=All Bottom=1 will show the lowest scoring section. n=1 for the lowest scoring item, n=2 for the 2nd lowest scoring item, etc. |

Show decimals on the score (both the label, if one is shown and the size of the mark) | From "Advanced" choose Set the Decimals. In "Decimals" enter the number of decimal places. |
Decimals=n | The number of decimal places for the Axis and the label (if any) |
