Brilliant Assessments has a big investment in keeping your data secure, including being independently audited for our Security Processes. Further information is here: Security Statement - Brilliant Assessments.
However, Brilliant Assessments can operate without any Personally Identifiable Information. (PII)
How it works.
- A respondent can follow a sharable link and complete the response.
- The shareable link can also be an anonymous cohort link which identifies which cohort the respondent belongs to and their role (maybe a 360 respondent or team member) but not any PII.
- Individual reports can be downloaded on completion, or they can be included in Cohort reports.
The tradeoffs.
- If the person gets interrupted partway through there is no way to give them access again to complete the same response.
- Reminders can't be automatically sent to those who haven't completed their responses.
- We can not email them a copy of their report.
- Iterations cannot be automatically detected for individuals. Cohort Iterations will work with the same anonymous cohort link approach as above.
Mitigation.
One commonly used mitigation strategy is to have a question where the respondent enters a unique identifier, like an employee code. Then, an Administrator or Assessment Manager can download a report with responses and:
- Send a link to an incomplete response outside the system.
- Identify who has responded, and manually remind the others, again outside the system.
- Email Reports that maybe the respondent didn't keep.
