You can Upgrade to Release 2020 or revert to the Legacy version by changing a checkbox in the settings.
To upgrade to Release 2020:
On the Settings menu: Tick the Release 2020 Reporting checkbox. The other settings will not change from what you previously had.
When you click save there will be two dialogue boxes shown:
Create Assessment Report Records.
The 2020 version no longer holds report templates on the assessment but on a separate reports table to allow for multiple reports from one response. The system will create the assessment report records and copy across the template for you if you click Yes. We recommend you do this. The only reason you would not do this is if you have previously upgraded and have already made some changes to the reports in the new structure.
Clean HTML from Report Text fields.
HTML is a series of codes that software uses to determine the format of how text should appear on the screen or page. Examples are bolding, font, font size, bullet points, etc. Usually, software doesn't display it to you, so it is often undetected.
Previously if you cut and paste text into the various report text fields from Word or a website you most likely copied some hidden HTML formatting. That didn't matter because the merge routine erased any HTML. Now we allow HTML that formating will affect your report. Because any formating that is there now what put their inadvertently we strongly recommend that you Clean all Report Text fields to start.
The only reason you would not do this is if you have previously upgraded and have already made some changes to the text in the new structure.
To revert to the Legacy Reporting Software
On the Settings menu: Untick the Release 2020 Reporting checkbox.
