Using Response-Based Merge Strings

These merge strings provide access to fields in the Response Request or header.

In the Cohort Report (where multiple responses will exist) the first response will be used to populate these fields. The exception are:

the Iteration Number, which will show the iteration Number of the First, Previous or Last Iteration
the Respondent Names List, which is documented here.

How to Show	Using the Merge Manager, select the Merge Type	Merge String
List of all respondents invited to respond to the assessment. This can be filtered as below	Cohort Respondent Names	{RespondentNames}

How to	Using the Merge Manager	Parameter	Notes
Show respondents for Completed Responses Only.	From "Options" choose Select Status. From "Status" choose "Complete". Hit enter	Status=Complete	Only respondents from completed responses will be shown.
Show respondents for Incomplete Responses Only.	From "Options" choose Select Status. From "Status" choose "Complete". Hit enter	Status=Incomplete	Only respondents from incomplete responses will be shown.
Show respondents for a specified Role Only.	From "Options" choose Select Role. In "Role" enter the Role that you wish to select. Hit enter	Identifier=nnnnnnn	If it has a space in it, enter an underscore instead of the space.

Using the Merge Manager, select the Merge Type

Merge String

The Iteration Number for the First, Previous or Last Iteration.

Select Iteration Number form the Merge Type List

From "Options" select Iteration

From "Iteration" Select "First Iteration", "Previous Iteration" or "Last Iteration"
