You can show the answer to an individual question. This may be the text that the user has entered or the Answer text of the answer the respondent selected. You can also show the Report Text for a specific Question.
For cohort reports, there are two options for showing Individual Answers
- If you show an answer or answer report text without any extra parameters it will show the answer from the first response it accesses (in the same order as they were created). This is usually ok only if they all have the same value, but otherwise, it is risky! You can specify the Role parameter to restrict the selected responses.
- You can show all of the responses to a question on separate lines with the Role following. The SplitType parameter is used to indicate that.

The Question and Answer Id's are used as a short way of specifying a particular Question or Answer. The ID code can be found by clicking on the ID button on an Answer in the Assessment Builder.
