Rating tables show comparative scores between the Identifiers. For example:
The merge string for this table was {RatingTable[SplitType=I SectionNo=ALL Direction=Horizontal OrderType=Alpha Order=Asc]}. Note that the OrderType and Order parameters have caused the Section names and Identifiers to be in alphabetical order.
You can also show the ratings as colours.
The Colour is normally determined by the rating - although this can be overridden if a specific colour is associated with a section subsection or segmentation.
You can, at the Question level, list questions showing the actual scores (for Likert type reporting), with or without decimal places, and with or without an Average showing for the rows and columns.
The merge string for the above is {RatingTable[SplitType=I SectionNo=2 SubSectionNo=ALL QuestionNo=ALL Direction=Horizontal ShowActual=Y Totals=Y Decimals=1]}
You can get the same table with no titles using SplitType=A (Anonymous)
Examples of Rating table merge strings:
{RatingTable[SectionNo=All]} |
Lists each Identifier and each section with their rating score vertically |
{RatingTable[ShowActual=Y]} |
Lists each Identifier their actual score. |
{RatingTable[UseLevels=true]} |
Lists each identifier and their score graphically, as shown in the example above. |
Multiple parameters can be specified in one merge string with one space between each one. For example:{RatingTable[SplitType=I SectionNo=2 SubSectionNo=1 QuestionNo=ALL Direction=Horizontal]}
Available Parameters:
Survey | Entire Assessment Result |
SectionNo=All | All Sections |
SectionNo=n | A specified Section |
SubSectionNo=All | All SubSections (section number must also be specified) |
SubSectionNo=n | A specified SubSection (Section number must also be specified) |
QuestionNo=All | All Questions (section and subsection numbers must also be specified) |
QuestionNo=n | A specified Question (section and subsection numbers must also be specified) |
SegmentationNo=All | All Segmentations |
SegmentationNo=n | A specified Segmentation. The segmentation number is available on the Segmentation List screen |
SplitType=N | Only applicable to Cohort Report - no split (averages the cohort). |
SplitType=I | Only applicable to Cohort Report - split by Identifier (averages the result if there are multiple responses for one identifier). |
SplitType=M | Only applicable to Cohort Report - split by Month and Year (averages the result if there are multiple responses for one month). |
SplitType=Y | Only applicable to Cohort Report - split by Year (averages the result if there are multiple responses for one year). |
SplitType=A | Only applicable to Cohort Report - shows every response with no identifier. This parameter is only available if actual scores are being displayed (ShowActual=Y). |
RatingType=n | Only applicable when Advanced Ratings are implemented. Specifies the rating type for this graph. Defaults to the Base Rating Type. |
SplitFilter | |
ShowActual=Y | Display Actual Points rather than % Score for Likert type reporting. Available at the Question level only. |
HideScore=Y | Displays the list of identifiers with no score shown (they may however still be ordered by score using the parameters OrderType=Score and Order=DESC). |
Totals=Y | Displays an extra column and row showing the average for Questions using Actual Points. |
Decimals=n | When n is the number of decimals for Questions using Actual Points. |
UseLevels=true | Adds the rating level to the table with the colour codes |
Order=DESC | Orders what is shown in descending order by value |
Order=Asc | Orders what is shown in ascending order by value |
OrderType=Alpha | Orders the list in Alphabetical Order |
OrderType=Score | Orders the list in Score Order |
Direction=Vertical | Displays identifiers down the page. |
